The school is run by Martha Mariam Social Service Society under Registration No: 686/83. The school had a humble beginning in 1990 with the intention of enrichment of children with special needs. We have now become a unique institution in the field and serving the society with a strength of 170 differently abled students and 42 staff members including our specially trained faculty members.
OUR STORY
MANAGEMENT
The founder President of the school is Late Lamented H.G.Geevarghese Mar Dioscoros and the current president is H.G. Dr. Gabriel Mar Gregorios Diocesan Metropolitan of Thiruvananthapuram diocese of Malankara Orthodox Syrian church.
The school committee, executive committee and the general body manage and decide the functioning of the school and implement other activities and development of the school.
ENROLMENT OF STUDENTS
Children between the age of 4-18 years with mild/moderate level of intellectual disability are admitted to the school after a face-to-face interaction with the committee members, paediatrician and psychologist.

Specially qualified teachers, physiotherapists, orofacial therapists, speech therapists are among our faculty members. We have a consulting pediatrician and psychologist in the school. Yoga training is also provided.

RESOURCES
Marion play home is a charitable institution and is run mostly by donation received from well-wishers of the school. Government of Kerala is extending some financial assistance as a grant once in a year. Every single penny received is acknowledged and utilized for the sole welfare of the children.
